Ticket Policies and Box Office Hours

The Cumberland County Civic Center box office is open from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  The box office is closed on Sunday.

BOX OFFICE HOURS: Mon. - Fri. 9:30a.m. - 5:30p.m.
Saturday, May 17th 9:30 - 5pm
Sunday, May 18th 10am through the Game


The Administrative Office hours:
Mon. - Fri. 9a.m. - 5p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION:
Tickets for Cumberland County Civic Center events are available at the Civic Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets may be charged by phone by calling (207) 775-3458 (Civic Center) or (207) 775-3331 or (603) 868-7300 (Ticketmaster). Service charges apply on all phone orders, outlet and online sales.

Specific seat availability is not an option over the phone. Regular Civic Center Box Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. during the winter and Monday through Friday 9:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. during the summer. Saturday and Sunday hours will vary depending on events and time of year.

CREDIT CARDS
The Civic Center Box Office welcomes MASTERCARD, VISA, AMEX and DISCOVER as forms of payment. Personal checks are accepted up to seven business days prior to an event. There is a $20 charge for all returned checks. Personal checks cannot be accepted for General Admission events. On occasion, the Civic Center Box Office is required to accept cash only at the ticket window on the first day of ticket sales for a specific event. A TD Banknorth ATM is located in the Civic Center lobby for your convenience.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

The Civic Center recognizes the special needs of patrons with disabilities.  Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the seating and service requests of patrons with disabilities in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Maine Human Rights Act.   

Wheelchairs are available at the Civic Center through the courtesy of Alpha One

 

 

It is our policy to provide one wheelchair seat and one companion seat for a guest or attendant in the designated accessible seating location.  This policy also applies to patrons with hearing impairments and visual impairments. 

Requests for accessible seating and services should be made by calling the Civic Center Box Office at (207) 775-3458 during regular business hours.  Requests for ASL interpretation must be made at the time of ticket purchase and well in advance of the event.

For most events, special event staff members are stationed in the main lobby to assist patrons with disabilities.  The Civic Center also has several wheelchairs available to assist patrons with mobility limitations to their seats if needed.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE

Patrons in wheelchairs or with limited mobility should use the Spring Street entrance to the Civic Center.  There is a drop-off area, a ramp from the sidewalk to the lobby plaza and an electric door into the lobby located at this entrance. 

HANDICAPPED PARKING

Handicapped parking spaces are located inside the City of Portland Parking garage located next to the Civic Center.  Patrons parking on the upper floors should take the elevator located in the northwest corner of the garage to the first floor and use the ramps that go down to the Spring Street sidewalk level.  The ramp to the Civic Center is located through the lower level of the parking garage on Spring Street.

Patrons in oversized vans or busses should call the Civic Center at (207) 775-3481 x 0 to make arrangements for parking. 

LISTENING ASSIST DEVICES

Listening amplification devices are available in the administration office.  It is recommended that patrons call in advance to reserve these devises at (207) 775-3481 x 304. 

GROUP DISCOUNTS
Group discounts are available for many events. Group size and amount of discount vary depending on the show. For more information, or to have your group added to our mailing list, please call our group sales department at 207-775-3481 ext. 348

REFUND POLICY
Please remember that tickets for Civic Center events may not be refunded or exchanged. This includes instances of inclement weather. Event information in this Web site will be updated as frequently as possible. However, events are subject to change without notice.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates are available in any denomination through the Civic Center Box Office. Certificates may be redeemed for any Civic Center event.

Portland Pirates ticket packages are available year round by calling (207) 828-4665 x 350 or by logging on to www.portlandpirates.com. Ticket packages start as low as $50. Individual Pirates tickets are sold at the Cumberland County Civic Center box office from September-April and throughout the playoffs. Advanced individual ticket prices range from $6-$19.50. Individual tickets can be purchased at the Civic Center Box Office or by calling (207) 775-3458.
