Click on the Map to go to Mapquest for the
ability to zoom in or out, print directions and more.

Directions:
I-295 to Portland. Take Exit #7, Franklin Street. Go through 4 sets of traffic lights. Turn right at the 5th light, onto Middle Street. The Civic Center is 3 traffic lights ahead on the right.

For patrons using internet direction websites please use 45 Spring St. as your end location. Or you may enter the intersection of Spring St. and Center St.

PARKING:  There is a municipal parking garage adjacent to the Civic Center, accessible from both the Spring Street and Free Street sides of the building.

There is plenty of metered street parking available around the Civic Center at 25 cents per half-hour with a two-hour limit. However, these spaces fill quickly for Civic Center events.

Metered spaces are free after 6 p.m. and all day during holidays, but pay special attention to signs indicating which night of the week street sweeping occurs, which varies from street to street. Cars parking on these streets will be towed after 11:30 p.m.

There is also a commercial parking garage located further down Free Street, and there are numerous paid parking lots around the Civic Center. Hourly and per-event parking fees at these lots vary according to proximity to the Civic Center.
